Spectra Survey: Astella is one of the 3 most respected VCs in Brazil

VC fund respected in the ecosystem. In addition, the research illustrates the rapid evolution of the Brazilian entrepreneurial ecosystem in recent years, the growth of more than 4 times in the capital available for investment, and the number of invested companies and success stories that have also multiplied.

Regarding the most important characteristics to classify a Venture Capital fund as respected, there are: reputation, entrepreneur friendly, quality of the team, entrepreneurial experience of the managers and track record (in that order).

The three most respected local managers in the ecosystem are Kaszek, Monashees and Astella. And the three main attributes of Astella according to the entrepreneurs are:

1. Strategic vision
2. Team quality
3. Reputation and brand

When asked about the qualitative attributes of Venture Capital managers, entrepreneurs classified Astella as:

1st place in the constructive feedback process;

2nd place in team quality;

3rd place in due diligence/analysis process.

The survey also mapped the Brazilian ecosystem's accelerators and identified that Endeavor is the main originator of companies.
